- The series Big Break Atlantis was filmed at the course.
- Professional women's golf has also come to the course, which has hosted LPGA events.
- Weiskopf's redesign removed dense vegetation so that the ocean views are visible from the course.
History of Ocean Club Golf Course
Dick Wilson created the original course on Paradise Island. In 2000 it was entirely redesigned, and the current layout is Tom Weiskopf's work. Marriott Golf manages the course.
Signature holes at Ocean Club Golf Course
Wind is the defining test here. Crosswinds are strong and can be temperamental, so the same hole may ask for a different club from one round to the next.
When to play Ocean Club Golf Course
Bahamian winters are mild and summers are hot and humid, so the cooler months suit most visitors. The twilight tee times take some of the heat out of a summer round.
Playing Ocean Club Golf Course: tips
The Golf in Paradise Twilight package offers sunset tee times, 15 percent off in the pro shop and half-price club rental, which suits a late-afternoon round. Leave time to loosen up on the range before you head out.
