About Albany Golf Club
Albany Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 72 course at the Albany resort community in the Bahamas. Ernie Els designed it in a desert links style, and it opened in 2010. The course is best known as the home of the Hero World Challenge, the invitational hosted by Tiger Woods. Windswept dunes give the layout its character.

- The tournament is played as a benefit for the Tiger Woods Foundation, which supports youth education.
- Albany runs a golf academy and has practice facilities alongside the course, including a driving range.
- Some of the dunes that run through the layout are man-made.
