Fazio also designed Chileno Bay Golf & Beach Club, where guests of the Auberge resort on the bay can play. Cabo del Sol, opened in 1994, centers on Jack Nicklaus's Cove Club course, kept for members and their guests, with Tom Weiskopf's original Desert Course as the community's second. Diamante Cabo San Lucas opened its Dunes Course, by Davis Love III with Paul Cowley, in 2009 and added El Cardonal by Tiger Woods and TGR Design; caddie service is mandatory on the Dunes Course. In Nayarit, Four Seasons Punta Mita has two Jack Nicklaus courses, Pacifico from 1999 and Bahia, open to guests of the Four Seasons and the St. Regis Punta Mita and to property owners. The one parkland course is Club de Golf Chapultepec in Naucalpan de Juarez, in the State of Mexico, designed by Willie Smith and Alex Smith, completed in 1921 and altered by Percy Clifford in 1972. It sits at 2,240 meters, hosted the WGC-Mexico Championship from 2017 to 2019, and is played by member invitation.

About Golf Courses in Mexico
Los Cabos is the main trip: Querencia in San José del Cabo, Chileno Bay between the two towns, and Cabo del Sol and Diamante in Cabo San Lucas share one stretch of coast. Punta Mita, in Nayarit, is a separate stop, and Chapultepec fits a Mexico City visit. At each, a member invitation, a home or a resort stay comes first.
