Best Golf Courses in Florida
10 ranked courses in Florida
Florida has ten courses in this guide, and four of them are open to visitors. TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach is the Stadium Course, designed by Pete Dye with Alice Dye and a PGA Tour venue; it takes public tee times booked through TPC Sawgrass, and the facility is also run as a resort with vacation packages. Streamsong Resort in Bowling Green has two links courses, both opened in 2012: the Red by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw and the Blue by Tom Doak. Streamsong sells day-guest tee times to non-resort guests, who book inside 30 days, while resort and stay-and-play guests get a longer window. Cabot Citrus Farms in Brooksville, Kyle Franz's 2024 links, is the fourth, listed as a resort course. The other six are private. Seminole Golf Club in Juno Beach ranks highest in the state: Donald Ross's 1929 course, with bunkers restored by Coore and Crenshaw from 2016 to 2018, which has hosted the Walker Cup. Calusa Pines in Naples, by Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry, opened in 2001, and Medalist in Hobe Sound was designed by Greg Norman and Pete Dye. Indian Creek Country Club, on a guarded island, was rebuilt by Andrew Green in 2022.
