About Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club
Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 72 course designed by Bernhard Langer on its own island off the east coast of Mauritius. The layout covers about 38 hectares of volcanic rock outcrops, tropical vegetation and white sand bunkers, and every hole has some view of the ocean that surrounds it.
- Fairways are narrow and the greens small and undulating.
- Lakes and mangrove forests flank several fairways, putting water or swamp in play.
- Langer worked with IMG on the design, which follows the island's natural undulations.
- From the back tees the course measures 6,469 metres, with shorter tees at 5,979 and 5,448.
