About Club de Golf Alcanada
Club de Golf Alcanada is an 18-hole, par 72 course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and opened in 2003. It sits above the Bay of Alcúdia on the northeast coast of Mallorca, close to Port d'Alcúdia. A lighthouse on a small island just offshore is in view from almost every hole and has become the club's emblem. The course is coastal rather than links, with the Mediterranean as a backdrop through most of the round.
- It is the only course in Mallorca that sits directly on the coast.
- The Challenge Tour Grand Final has been played here since 2019.
- Strategic bunkering and doglegs reward careful placement over raw distance.
- A golf academy, driving range and short-game area sit beside the clubhouse restaurant.
History of Club de Golf Alcanada
Alcanada opened in October 2003 as a Robert Trent Jones Jr. design, built on a stretch of coastline facing a small island and its lighthouse. Its first Challenge Tour Grand Final followed in 2019.
