About Son Gual Golf

Son Gual Golf is an 18-hole, par 72 course on a 156-hectare estate outside Palma, close to the airport. Fairways are generous and the landing areas wide, and the greens are well defended. Several tee boxes let different standards of golfer take on the same holes.

  • The course has large lakes and 66 bunkers.
  • Woosnam compared the greens to those at Augusta National.
  • Olive trees and vineyards line parts of the estate, and wildflowers grow in the rough.
  • The estate has a golf academy, a restaurant and a pro shop beside the course.

History of Son Gual Golf

Son Gual opened in 2007 to a design by German architect Thomas Himmel.
