About Hills Golf & Sports Club

Hills Golf & Sports Club sits in the Sandsjöbacka nature reserve at Mölndal, just outside Gothenburg. Its main course, the Hills Course, is an 18-hole, par 71 layout built on rolling ground, with water hazards in play on many holes and uneven lies on the slopes. The course opened in 2005 to a design by Arthur Hills and Steve Forrest. Johan Edfors later redesigned six holes, and the revised layout was completed in 2014.

  • The Nordea Masters was played here in August 2018, with Paul Waring beating Thomas Aiken in a playoff for his first European Tour title.
  • The European Tour returned in 2019 for the Scandinavian Invitation, giving the course two tour events in two years.
  • The 12-hole, par 45 Valley Course is a separate short track for family and social golf.
  • A driving range, restaurant and teaching professional are on site.
