About Crownwood Club

Crownwood Club sits near Ängelholm in Skåne and opened in 2025. Its championship course, the Crown, was designed by Christian Lundin and Henrik Stenson on sandy, pine-covered ground close to the coast. The courses were built using the natural sand of the area, and the routing has a coastal character.

  • The course earned GEO certification for its construction, a first for golf in Sweden.
  • Arild Karlsen is co-founder alongside Stenson and Lundin.
  • Juniors and golfers with disabilities play the short course, Henrik's Playground, for free.
  • Three quarters of the membership fee goes into a spending levy that covers golf, dining, spa and lodging.

History of Crownwood Club

The club was the project of Henrik Stenson, architect Christian Lundin and Arild Karlsen, who set out to build a new private club in the coastal pine forest. The Crown opened in 2025. Henrik's Playground, a shorter course, followed in 2026.
