About Frösåker Golf & Country Club
Frösåker Golf & Country Club lies on the shore of Lake Mälaren near Västerås, and its Stora Banan is the main course. The 18-hole, par 72 layout begins with forest and parkland holes on the front nine. On the back nine the course moves down to the lake, and Mälaren brings water into play on several holes. Sune Linde designed it, and the club was established in 1989.
- Golf architect Pierre Fulke later refined the back nine, working on greens and bunkers.
- The Linksbanan is a nine-hole, par-27 course of short par 3s from 40 to 125 meters, with rough grass and pot bunkers.
- The driving range uses Toptracer technology, and the club restaurant has a terrace overlooking the water.
- An 18-room hotel and a spa are on the property, so the club works as a golf stay.
