About Cascata Golf Club
Cascata Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 72 desert course at Boulder City, Nevada. Rees Jones designed it, and it opened in 2000. The name is Italian for waterfall, and water is part of the theme: a stream runs through the Tuscan-style clubhouse, and creeks and ponds wind across the property. Jones routed the holes through canyons in a desert links style, with dry stream beds and rock outcrops giving the fairways their shape. Elevation changes run through much of the round. The back tees stretch the course to 7,137 yards.
- Bighorn sheep are a regular sight among the canyon walls, and they have been spotted near the 17th hole.
- The 37,000-square-foot Tuscan-style clubhouse houses the dining room, golf shop and locker facilities.
- The course sits about 3,200 feet above the Las Vegas Valley, with the 3,600-foot Red Mountain as a backdrop.
- Cabot manages the course, which stands on a 440-acre site in Boulder City.

Signature holes at Cascata Golf Club
The par-3 7th is the hole most often singled out. It drops into a rocky box canyon, with the green set against cliff walls, bunkers and water.
When to play Cascata Golf Club
Cascata closes for part of late summer and reopens in the fall, so confirm the dates with the golf shop before you plan a trip. Rates follow demand, with off-season and peak-season pricing, so booking early for the cooler months is sensible.
