About Capital City Club Crabapple Course
Capital City Club's Crabapple Course is a private 18-hole, par 72 layout at Milton, in the northern suburbs of Atlanta. Tom Fazio designed it, and it opened in 2002 as the club's second golf course. The ground rolls rather than stays flat, and strategic bunkering guards the greens and the corners of the doglegs.
- Tiger Woods won the 2003 WGC-American Express Championship here, finishing two strokes clear of the field.
- Alabama won its first NCAA men's title at Crabapple in 2013, beating Illinois in the match-play final.
- Matt Parziale beat Josh Nichols 8 and 6 in the 36-hole final of the 2017 U.S. Mid-Amateur.
- Walking is permitted at Crabapple, and carts are available for members and guests who prefer to ride.
