About Golf Soldeu

Golf Soldeu is a nine-hole, par 33 course at 2,250 meters above sea level in the Grandvalira ski area of Canillo, Andorra, which makes it the highest golf course in Europe. It covers 2,590 meters on 16 hectares of mountainside. There is no road to the clubhouse, so every round starts with a ride up the Soldeu cable car. The course welcomes golfers of every level.

  • A floating green sits on the Pla d'Espiolets lake.
  • A clubhouse restaurant and bar sit beside a certified golf school that teaches players of every level.
  • Beyond golf, the area offers beekeeping outings and marmot-watching excursions for non-golfers.
  • Clubs and other equipment can be rented at the clubhouse.

History of Golf Soldeu

Golf Soldeu opened in 2008 on the Grandvalira slopes, a design by British architect Jeremy Pern.

When to play Golf Soldeu

The course is open only in summer, from late June to late September, when the snow has cleared. Hours run from 9 a.m. in July and August and from 10 a.m. at the start and end of the season.
