About Royal Park I Roveri
Royal Park I Roveri is a 36-hole golf club at Fiano, near Turin, with the Allianz course as its 18-hole par 72 layout. Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed it in 1971 as a forest parkland course, with trees lining the fairways. Bunkers and water hazards drive the strategy, and the ground is relatively flat. The club is set in La Mandria park near Turin. A second course, by Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry, was added in 2006. The Edoardo Molinari Golf Academy runs lessons from the club, and a driving range, putting green, restaurant and bar sit beside the clubhouse.
- The Allianz course held the Italian Open four times, from 2009 through 2012.
- Two European Amateur Team Championships have been played here, one of them in 2008.
- The Agnelli family founded the club in 1971, the same year the Trent Jones course opened.
- Visitors pay a standard green fee of EUR 160 for 18 holes, with no weekend surcharge.
