Thracian Cliffs Golf & Beach Resort is an 18-hole, par 72 course designed by Gary Player on the northern Black Sea coast of Bulgaria, between Kavarna and Balchik. The back tees play to 6,452 metres. Holes are laid out along the cliffs, and the sea is in view from every one of them. The course sits inside a resort that also has its own accommodation, restaurants and beaches.
- The resort has two beaches, with water sports and beachfront dining available once the round is finished.
- A driving range, a restaurant and golf carts are all on site for visiting players.
- Tennis courts and a spa give non-golfers something to do during a golf stay.
- The resort covers about 85 hectares of coastal ground.
History of Thracian Cliffs Golf & Beach Resort
The resort hosted the 2013 Volvo World Match Play Championship, the 50th edition of the event. Graeme McDowell beat Thongchai Jaidee in the final.
