Oddur Golf Club plays over Urriðavöllur, an 18-hole, par 71 course in Garðabær, on a hillside beside the Heiðmörk conservation area. The ground is heath and lava, and the course runs along lava flows from the Búrfell volcano, with moorbirds nesting on the property. Beside it the club keeps Ljúflingur, a nine-hole par 3 course for shorter rounds. It is a semi-private club: members share the course with visitors, who pay a green fee that covers use of the clubhouse facilities.

History of Oddur Golf Club
Urriðavöllur began as a nine-hole course in 1990. Golfklúbburinn Oddur was established in 1993, and the course was inaugurated as a full 18-hole layout in August 1997. In the years since, the club has hosted two European team events, the European Ladies' Amateur Team Championship in 2016 and the European Girls' Team Championship in 2022. England beat Spain 4-3 in the 2016 final.
