About Nairn Golf Club

Nairn Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 71 links on the southern shore of the Moray Firth in the Scottish Highlands, led by its Championship course. Fairways wind through dunes covered in heather and gorse, with views across the Firth to the Black Isle. The greens carry much of the course's reputation, with a name for being true and fast. The clubhouse has a bar and restaurant, and a pro shop is on site.

  • The Walker Cup was played at Nairn in 1999.
  • The Amateur Championship has been held here twice, in 1994 and again in 2021.
  • The club also has the Cameron Course, a nine-hole layout.
  • Buggies, trolleys and rental clubs can be hired through the pro shop.

History of Nairn Golf Club

Nairn Golf Club was founded in 1887, with Andrew Simpson laying out the first course. Old Tom Morris later extended the links, and James Braid also changed the course. Mackenzie & Ebert carried out renovation work in 2018.

Signature holes at Nairn Golf Club
