About Gozzer Ranch Golf & Lake Club

Gozzer Ranch Golf & Lake Club is a private club on Lake Coeur d'Alene in northern Idaho, built around an 18-hole, par 72 course by Tom Fazio. Discovery Land Company developed the 700-acre property as a residential community, and the golf course sits on high ground above the lake. The routing runs through pine forest and around basalt outcrops, with real changes of level from hole to hole. The club's own website describes the property as a members-only community, and the course is not open to the public. For a visitor who gets an invitation, the setting is much of the appeal, with the lake, the rock and the forest all coming into view during a round.

  • Comfort stations between the holes serve refreshments and food to players during the round.
  • Fazio gave the bunkers irregular, natural-looking edges that blend into the surrounding rock and forest.
  • The 7th is a short par 3 set into rock outcrops on the property.
  • The 17th is another par 3, played with rocky terrain behind the green.
