The ground rolls gently, rows of trees and single trees line the play, and water hazards come into play on selected holes.

  • A driving range and putting green are available for warming up.
  • Professional coaching is offered at the club.
  • A pro shop is on site.

History of Golf- und Land-Club Köln

The club was founded in 1906 as one of the first golf clubs in Germany and celebrated its centenary in 2006. It began in Cologne itself, and the present course in the Refrath forests, a von Limburger design, opened in 1955. The German Open has been played here six times, and Seve Ballesteros won the 1978 edition.
