Best Golf Courses in Finland
4 ranked courses in Finland
Finland has four courses in this guide, all parkland and all open to visitors. Three are resorts. Kytäjä Golf in Hyvinkää is Thomas McBroom's North West course from 2004, one of two championship layouts there, sold with stay-and-play packages and on-site accommodation. Linna Golf in Hämeenlinna, Tim Lobb's 2005 course on the Vanajanlinna estate, runs through pine and birch woodland with a hotel on the estate. Nordcenter Golf & Country Club at Åminnefors in Uusimaa is the oldest, Ron Fream's course from 1988, with a second course by Bradford Benz; tee times are booked through the club calendar, and accommodation is on the estate. The fourth, Ålands Golfklubb at Kastelholm, is public. Its Slottsbanan runs beside Slottssundet bay and the medieval castle, and Philip Spogård rebuilt it between 2018 and 2020. Guests book through the club's online portal.
