About PGA National Czech Republic
PGA National Czech Republic is an 18-hole, par 72 course at Popovičky in Central Bohemia, and the centerpiece of the 140-hectare Oaks Prague estate. Kyle Phillips designed it, and the holes wind through woodland with doglegs, bunkers and a mix of uphill and downhill ground. Troon Privé manages the club, and it is the only course in the Czech Republic licensed under the PGA National name. The layout is built to challenge professionals from the back tees yet stay playable for visitors.
- The clubhouse occupies the restored Nebřenice chateau and houses a restaurant, bar, lounge and golf shop.
- The PGA National Golf Academy has a full-grass driving range, a short game area and lessons from PGA-qualified coaches.
- The course has been voted the Czech Republic's best at the World Golf Awards, and in 2020 it also took the Europe title.
- Phillips followed environmentally sustainable design principles, working with the natural landforms.
History of PGA National Czech Republic
Phillips's course opened in two stages, with the front nine in 2019 and the full 18 holes in the summer of 2020. In August 2024 the DP World Tour brought the D+D Real Czech Masters here for the tournament's tenth edition and its first year at the venue. The event had previously been played at Albatross Golf Resort, also in Central Bohemia.

The course is seasonal and closes for the winter, so plan a visit between spring and autumn.
