About Golf Resort Karlštejn
Golf Resort Karlštejn is a 27-hole club at Liteň, in Central Bohemia, laid out as three nines. The A and B nines make up the original 18-hole, par 72 course, which Les Furber and Jim Eremko designed and which opened in 1993. It measures 6,324 meters. The course climbs and falls through wooded hills shaped by limestone rock, a deep ravine and water reservoirs. The greens are wide but tricky, and there are ponds on the course. The architects set out to build a course where an easy bogey and a difficult birdie are the norm.
- Karlštejn Castle is visible from most points on the course.
- The resort runs a golf academy with instruction and junior programs.
- A driving range and putting green are on site, along with a restaurant and clubhouse.
- Lodging and conference facilities are part of the resort.
