About Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Club

Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Club is a private club at Frankston, Victoria, Australia, with two courses, the North and the South. The North course is a par 72 in the Sandbelt tradition, with bentgrass greens and restored heathland vegetation. Ogilvy, Clayton, Cocking and Mead redesigned it, and the South course is on the same property.

  • OCCM, the architects Ogilvy Clayton Cocking Mead, led the redesign of the Frankston property.
  • Kingswood Golf Club began as Dandenong Golf Club in 1904.
  • The practice area has a driving range, a practice bunker and putting greens, and a teaching professional.
  • Accommodation is available on site, so a visit can stretch over several days of golf.

History of Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Club

Peninsula Country Golf Club and Kingswood Golf Club merged in 2013 to form the present club. Kingswood traced its roots to 1904 as the Dandenong Golf Club and moved to Dingley in 1937. OCCM redesigned the courses at the Frankston site. The North course had earlier been laid out by Sloan Morpeth.
