About Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club
Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club occupies the Bukit Kiara hills inside Malaysia's capital, in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, and runs two 18-hole courses, the West and the East. It is a par 72 parkland layout where water hazards and well-placed bunkers decide how aggressively you can play. The grounds are close to central Kuala Lumpur.
- A golf academy, tennis courts and a swimming pool give non-golfers and families something to do.
- Several dining venues sit on the grounds, so a round can finish with a meal at the club.
- The driving range, pitching and chipping area and putting green are all available for warming up.
- Caddies are compulsory, so every group has local help reading the greens.
History of Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club
Robin Nelson and Rodney Wright designed the West Course, and it opened in 1991. Parslow & Associates later rebuilt the layout. The West Course has hosted the CIMB Classic, the Maybank Malaysian Open and Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia, which put the club on the international calendar.

When to play Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club
Kuala Lumpur is hot and humid all year, and afternoon thunderstorms are common in every month. Early tee times are cooler and usually drier, so book a morning slot if you can.
