Vietnam has five clubs in this guide, all on the coast: three on the central coast around Da Nang, Hoi An and Hue, one at Cam Ranh and one at Ho Tram in the south. Greg Norman designed three of them. Legend Da Nang Golf Resort is a 36-hole complex whose Norman Course opened in 2010 and is also known as BRG Da Nang Golf Resort; its links-style holes have wide fairways, sculpted bunkers and waste areas, and the par-3 16th plays over the sea. A second 18, Jack Nicklaus's par-73 Nicklaus Course, opened on the property in 2018. The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram Strip, Norman's par-71 links-style course of 2014, is routed over seaside dunes with forest behind, and it staged the Ho Tram Open, won by Sergio Garcia in 2015. KN Golf Links Cam Ranh opened on October 27, 2018 as Norman's third course in Vietnam, an 18-hole, par-72 Links course on the Cam Ranh Peninsula in Khánh Hòa, plus a nine-hole Oasis course. Near Hoi An, Hoiana Shores Golf Club is a Robert Trent Jones II par 71 laid through dunes along more than two kilometers of beachfront, with the Cham Islands offshore. Laguna Golf Lăng Cô, Sir Nick Faldo's 2013 course on the coast between Hue and Da Nang, runs among sand dunes, forest and rice paddies, with the East Sea on one side and the Truong Son range on the other, and it is home to the Faldo Series Asia Grand Final.

Da Nang makes the central base: Legend Da Nang is about 20 minutes from the airport and about 20 minutes from Hoi An, Hoiana Shores books visitors through stay-and-play packages, and Laguna Lăng Cô shares its resort grounds with Banyan Tree and Angsana hotels. The central coast is driest from spring into summer. KN Golf Links is about five minutes from Cam Ranh International Airport, with Nha Trang the nearest city. The Bluffs is roughly two hours by road from Ho Chi Minh City and takes online bookings, with hotel rooms in the Grand Ho Tram Strip resort.
