About The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram Strip
The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram Strip is an 18-hole, par 71 links-style course designed by Greg Norman at Ho Tram on the coast. The holes are routed over and around seaside sand dunes, with forest behind and the shoreline in view. It forms part of the Grand Ho Tram Strip resort.
- Norman compared the land with Doonbeg in Ireland, calling it one of only two sites of that quality.
- The course won World's Best New Golf Course at the 2015 World Golf Awards.
- A PGA-staffed academy and a driving range of 3,000 square meters give plenty of practice space.
- The clubhouse covers about 2,300 square meters and has dining outlets, so a round can end at the club.
History of The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram Strip
The course opened in 2014. Since then it has appeared in Golf Digest's list of the World's 100 Greatest Golf Courses, and it has staged Asian Tour golf: the Ho Tram Open, won by Sergio Garcia in 2015, and later the Ho Tram Players Championship.
