Best Golf Courses in Saudi Arabia
3 ranked courses in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia has three clubs in this guide, two around Riyadh and one on the Red Sea coast, and all three have staged professional events. Dirab Golf & Country Club, in the Tawfiq valley about 45 kilometers southwest of Riyadh, opened in the 1990s as the first grassed 18-hole championship course built in Saudi Arabia. Its par 72 of 7,280 yards has tree-lined fairways and manicured greens. Golf Saudi redeveloped the club and reopened it to the public on September 23, 2021, Saudi National Day, and Hellgren won the Saudi Open there in December 2025 with a birdie on the par-5 18th. Riyadh Golf Club is a desert course in Riyadh, with man-made waterways over rolling terrain and floodlights on all 18 holes. It took over the Saudi International in 2024, Ballester won there in 2025, and the LIV Golf League opens its season on the course under the lights, with Smylie the winner in 2026. Royal Greens Golf & Country Club is a European Golf Design par 72 in King Abdullah Economic City, where the fairways are exposed to the wind and holes 15 and 16 play beside the water. It staged the Saudi International every year from 2019 to 2023 and LIV Golf's Jeddah event from 2022 to 2024.

About Golf Courses in Saudi Arabia
The cooler months from November to March suit golf best across the Kingdom. Dirab and Royal Greens take visitors on online tee sheets, Dirab through the Golf Saudi booking portal and Royal Greens through its Chronogolf page. Royal Greens is roughly 100 kilometers north of Jeddah, and Dirab needs time to get out of Riyadh. At Riyadh Golf Club, contact the club about tee times, and check the pro calendar first.
