Best Golf Courses in the Netherlands
5 ranked courses in Netherlands
The Netherlands has five courses in this guide, and all five are private clubs; four publish visitor terms. Three are links and two are heathland. Kennemer Golf & Country Club in Zandvoort is Harry Colt's 1928 design with a later nine by Frank Pennink, 27 holes in all. Koninklijke Haagsche in Wassenaar, from 1938 by Colt and Hugh Alison and renovated by Frank Pont in 2014, welcomes visitors Monday to Thursday and Friday mornings before 11 a.m., with a handicap limit of 24 and no fourballs. Noordwijkse in Noordwijk is Pennink's 1972 course from a design by Ken Cotton; green-fee players need a handicap of 24.0 or lower, though members' guests are exempt. Both heathland courses were designed by Colt. Eindhovensche in Valkenswaard, opened in 1930, allows guests on weekdays only, with a maximum handicap of 24.0 and an NGF card or foreign certificate. Utrechtse De Pan in Bosch en Duin, from 1929, ranks highest of the five; it asks for a certificate and a handicap of 24 or lower.
