Best Golf Courses in Bermuda
5 ranked courses in Bermuda
Bermuda has five clubs in this guide: two at Tucker's Town in Hamilton Parish, two in Southampton Parish and one in Warwick Parish. Mid Ocean Club at Tucker's Town is a coastal course laid out by Charles Blair Macdonald with his associate Seth Raynor, the only Macdonald design built outside the United States, and Robert Trent Jones Sr. modernized it in the 1950s. Its routing includes Biarritz, Redan and Cape template holes; the par-4 5th is the Cape and the par-3 17th the Redan. Also at Tucker's Town, Tucker's Point Golf Club is a par 70 on the oceanfront that Charles H. Banks laid out in 1932 and Roger Rulewich redesigned in 2002, with elevated tees that open up the ocean views. In Southampton Parish, Port Royal Golf Course is a par-71 public course by Robert Trent Jones that opened in 1970 and is owned by the Bermuda government. Rulewich led a renovation of around $14 million before it took on professional events: Port Royal was selected for the 2009 and 2010 Grand Slam events and has been the home of the PGA Tour's Bermuda Championship since that event began in 2019. Its 16th has tee and green on cliffs above the Atlantic. Turtle Hill Golf Club at the Fairmont Southampton is Ted Robinson's 18-hole par-3 course, a par 54 on rolling ground where the World Par 3 Championship is played each March. Belmont Hills Golf Course in Warwick Parish, a par 70 redesigned by Algie Pulley in 2002, has the only double green in Bermuda and a million-gallon lake.

About Golf Courses in Bermuda
Bermuda is mild for most of the year; spring and autumn are the most comfortable seasons for a round, and summers are warm and humid. Port Royal is open to visitors, Turtle Hill takes bookings without a hotel stay, and Belmont Hills takes visitors who are not members. Mid Ocean is a private club that offers a few outside tee times on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, best requested well ahead, while Tucker's Point plays for members and guests of Rosewood Bermuda, who can also be offered Mid Ocean tee times through the resort.
