About Pärnu Bay Golf Links
Pärnu Bay Golf Links is an 18-hole, par 72 course on the coast near Pärnu, which is known as Estonia's summer capital. It opened in 2015 and is laid out on a strip of sandy land where forest meets the sea, with water hazards, large bunkers and sandy waste areas in play. Fairways are wide, and the greens are multi-level with plenty of movement. Next to the main course is a short par 3 course, and the clubhouse sits beside the sea.
- The short course has five par 3 holes.
- The clubhouse has the Eagle restaurant, a pro shop and saunas.
- A driving range and putting green sit next to the clubhouse.
- Pärnu Bay has been named the best golf course in Estonia more than once.
History of Pärnu Bay Golf Links
Pärnu Bay was financed by Peter Hunt. It was completed in 2015, and for some years afterward it was described as the newest course in Estonia. Lassi Pekka Tilander drew the design, and Mick McShane, who has worked on the Castle Course at St Andrews and on Kingsbarns, led the shaping.
