About The National Azerbaijan Golf Club

The National Azerbaijan Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 72 course at Quba, in the north of Azerbaijan. Jon Hunt of International Golf Design laid it out at the foot of the Caucasus mountains, and the course is run as a resort venue with a hotel. Troon Golf is involved in managing the operation.

  • The clubhouse has locker rooms, a golf shop and dining, so a visit can be built around one stop.
  • Practice facilities on site give visitors a place to warm up before heading out.
  • Quba sits north of Baku, so the course makes a countryside excursion away from the capital.
  • The setting combines Caucasus scenery with a resort hotel for those who want to stay overnight.

History of The National Azerbaijan Golf Club

The National Azerbaijan Golf Club was built as the country's first 18-hole championship golf course. Jon Hunt designed the layout. A Rixos hotel serves the resort.
