Best Golf Courses in India
5 ranked courses in India
India has five clubs in this guide, four in northern India and one in Gujarat. Delhi Golf Club in New Delhi has 27 holes: the 18-hole Lodhi Course, which Peter Thomson redesigned in the mid-1970s, and his nine-hole Peacock Course. The grounds are tree-covered and hold Mughal-era tombs, Gary Player Design renovated the Lodhi in 2019, and Fleetwood won the first DP World India Championship there in 2025. In Gurgaon, Haryana, DLF Golf & Country Club opened in 1999 with an Arnold Palmer course, now nine holes, and later added Gary Player's par-72 Player Course of 7,204 yards, which runs among lakes and quarry ravines; it has staged the Hero Indian Open. Classic Golf & Country Club near Gurugram is a 27-hole Jack Nicklaus complex in the Aravalli foothills, with Ridge, Valley and Canyon nines on the ITC Grand Bharat estate, and it held the Players Championship in April 2026. Jaypee Greens Golf Course in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, is Greg Norman's par 72 of 2000, whose 88 bunkers and 14 lakes and water bodies show Sandbelt influence. Kalhaar Blues & Greens Golf Club in Ahmedabad, a Nicklaus Design par 72 of 7,425 yards, opened in 2012, and its par-3 seventh is a 174-yard island green.

About Golf Courses in India
The cooler months from late autumn to early spring suit golf at all five, away from the summer heat and the monsoon. Delhi Golf Club and Jaypee Greens take non-members on a green fee, arranged ahead by phone, and weekdays are easier to book at Delhi. Kalhaar Blues & Greens takes visitor tee times through the club. Classic is open to guests of ITC Grand Bharat and through golf-and-stay packages, while DLF needs a member to accompany any visitor.
